Joined the team in September 2021, earned an MSc in 2024, and was recommended for admission to the PhD programme without an entrance examination.

Evaluates satellite and reanalysis precipitation products in cold and arid mountain regions, and compiled a projected snow-phenology dataset for the Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics competition zone. Co-authored papers analysed spring snowmelt contributions to runoff in the source region of the Yangtze River and elevation-dependent differences in snowmelt contributions in the central Tibetan Plateau.
