Liu Yiwei

Completed an MSc in June 2026. The thesis was entitled “Detection and Attribution of Anomalous Runoff Patterns in High-Altitude Mountain Catchments Using Multisource Data”.

Applies wavelet analysis to identify anomalous runoff patterns and improve machine-learning runoff simulations. The first-author paper was published in Journal of Hydrology (2025). Also co-authored papers on machine-learning identification of Tibetan Plateau river ice (2025) and elevation-dependent differences in snowmelt contributions in the central plateau (2026).
